Successful training and conditioning of Thoroughbreds or Quarter Horses for the race track has been a daily routine at Poplar Creek. The hard work and dedication of our trainers, on the farm, has paid off. Poplar Creek's half mile race track with sand footing and good drainage, complete with a functioning four horse starting gate, is a huge benefit for proper preparation of these horses before and during their race career. A large indoor arena, indoor roundpen and indoor hotwalker are involved with the daily training and preparation. Dedicated and professionally trained staff, aid in the special care of each and every horse on the farm. Trainers are welcome to train from our farm or may haul horses in for daily exercise.
